Science Picnics
The museum team spent this June travelling, first to Inventor's Day in Rzeszów, then to the Science Picnic in Warsaw near the National Stadium. This year, the Jagiellonian University Museum's presentation stand offered an opportunity to learn more about its new interactive exhibition called ‘Everything... is a number.' Viewers were able to participate in different experiments, including a simulation of nuclear decay or the calculation of the number Pi. Visitors participating in both events were also able to learn the rules of painting composition, and single-handedly paint a still life, as well as observe various materials through the use of a digital microscope.
Both events attracted more than ten thousand visitors.
