London Concert Choir in Collegium Maius

Originally founded in 1960, London Concert Choir is one of London's leading amateur choirs. Conducted by Mark Forkgen, the choir regularly appears with leading British orchestras at all the major London concert venues and is notable for its diverse repertoire and the conviction and expressiveness of its performances. On 8th July 2016 at 19:15, the Choir is to deliver a concert in the Collegium Maius courtyard, performing blues and jazz songs with the accompaniment of Mark Forgen (piano)

Promocja książki "Zabytki muzyczne w zbiorach Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego"

W dniu 15 czerwca br. o godz. 17:00 miała miejsce promocja książki "Zabytki muzyczne w zbiorach Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Praca zbiorowa pod redakcją Renaty Suchowiejko". Dzieło stanowi pierwszą prezentację bogatego zespołu zabytków muzycznych ze zbiorów Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Jest to pełne opracowanie ok. 700 muzykaliów, które nie były dotychczas przedmiotem badań. Kolekcja obejmuje instrumenty i akcesoria muzyczne (48 obiektów), pamiątki po kompozytorach (107 obiektów), płyty perforowane, rolki pianolowe i rolki do orchestrionu (527 obiektów) oraz kilkanaście elementów uzupełniających. Wydarzenie odbyło się w Librarii Collegium Maius.

Exhibition: 'Welcome to the Nanoworld'

The 'Welcome to the Nanoworld' exhibition is an exceptional event among other events taking place in Polish museums. An ordinary exhibition usually has one or a few curators.
