Lecture: The Skevra Gospel Book of Lviv

We are inviting you to attend a lecture to be held by Prof. Małgorzata Smorag Różycka: 'The Skevra Gospel Book of Lviv: A masterpiece of Armenian art of illumination from the late 12th century'. The event will take place on Tuesday, 25 October, at 5 p.m. in the Collegium Maius Aula. The subject of the lecture is the most unique Armenian artifact in all Polish collections: a richly illuminated manuscript of the four Gospels translated into the Armenian language. The lecture will be livestreamed on the Museum's YT channel.

Małopolska Night of Scientists

The Małopolska Night of Scientists is to begin soon on Friday, the 30th of September. We will meet the employees of the Jagiellonian University Museum during two online workshops: 'King Chrobry saved beavers. Nature conservation as a part of university legacy' and 'Noble Health. Health advice given by Jan Kochanowski, Nicholas Copernicus and other personages affiliated with the old University.'
