Finishing the Copernican Year
December is a good time to reflect upon the passing year. For this reason, we gathered on 6 December in the Collegium Maius Library to reminisce about the past months, which were marked by the celebration of the Copernican Year. Camerimage Festival
With the beginning of the 31st edition of the Camerimage Film Festival on 12 November, the accompanying Nicholaus Copernicus exhibition was opened in the Old Town Hall District Museum in Toruń. One of its highlights is the Jan Matejko's painting "Copernicus the Astronomer, or A Conversation With God". The exhibition has already enjoyed an enormous popularity. One of the first visitors was the American actor Adam Driver. The painting will remain on display in the native city of the astronomer until the 24 November. For the duration of the festival (12–18 Nov 2023) the exhibition can be visited out of charge!... »
