Following the Krakusek contest for third-grade primary school students
The best way to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus is to make young people interested in science, the life of the astronomer and his achievements. For that reason, together with the Juliusz Słowacki Social Primary School and the Akademia Żakowska, our Museum is organising a contest aimed at third-grade primary school students named Following the Krakusek: Nicholaus Copernicus in Kraków. Inauguration of the new academic year
The day of 1 October has a special significance for Kraków and the academic community, as the inauguration of the academic year has been taking place at this time for many years, with the inaugurational procession setting off from Collegium Maius. On this occasion, we would like to invite you to visit the Museum's standing exhibition on Sunday from 12:300 to 14:30 (last entry) and the interactive exhibition "Old and new sciences". Museum visiting hours
We remind our visitors the main exhibition are available from Monday to Friday at 10:00-16:00 (last tour starts at 15:30). A new tour starts every 30 minutes. Guided tours are available in the following languages: Polish, English, German, French, Spanish and Russian. Free tours (without guide service) will be available on Wednesdays at 13:30-16:00 (last tour starts at 15:30)... »
