The following clip shows the background of the promotional film accompanying the new exhibition named "Pyszne młodopolskie głowy. Portrety profesorskie Leona Wyczółkowskiego" ("The Young Poland's splendid heads. Professor portraits of Leon Wyczółkowski"). The recording features interviews with the authors, meeting with the director, as well as footage from rehearsal and artistic make-up. All scenes were filmed in the exhibition rooms of Collegium Maius.

"Czule o Wyczóle" promotional film

The employees of the Jagiellonian University Museum created a promotional film accompanying the new exhibition named "Pyszne młodopolskie głowy. Portrety profesorskie Leona Wyczółkowskiego" ("The Young Poland's splendid heads. Professor portraits of Leon Wyczółkowski"). It is an attempt to recreate the atmosphere of fin de siècle, to take viewers back in that time, to make the protagonists of the exhibition appear alive on screen.

Opening of the 'Pyszne młodopolskie głowy' exhibition

On the 160th birth anniversary of Leon Wyczółkowski, the Jagiellonian University Museum commemorates this distinguished artist of the Young Poland period, a portrait painter popular among the academia and artists of Cracow, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts, and art collector.

Heathen Courtyard

On 20th June 2012 the first meeting of the planned "Heathen courtyard" series was held in Collegium Maius. The discussion was opened by the University rector, Prof. Karol Musioł. The Cracow's edition had such participants as Aleksander Hall, Ryszard Bugaj, Paweł Kowal, Jerzy Fedorowicz, and Ryszard Terlecki.

Opening of the new exhibition: "Instructors and members of the Polish Scout movement connected to the Jagiellonian University"

The exhibition presents the lives of 11 academics who took part in the Scouting movement, holding various positions in its regional structures in Cracow before and during their academic careers. The author of the exhibition is Jacek Kumański, a Museum employee and a Scouting instructor.
