            Scheme A: cultural heritage and revalorization of spatial layout

The subject of this project is the revitalization (conservation and construction works) of Collegium Maius, purposing to enhance space for cultural and educational events. The operations planned for the arcade courtyard include repairing courtyard tiles, conservation of the well, replacement of rain drainage pipes and outlets, cleaning the veneer and stone elements, filling crumbled parts and creating surface protection, replacement of wooden door and window elements (including the decorative grates), securing the vertical isolation layer above the basement, and adaptation of the attic rooms (including creation of research-depository space, a exhibition-class room and infrastructure).

The operations in the Huta courtyard will include protective, archeological, conservatory, reconstruction works, as well as replacement of courtyard tiles.

The funding agreement for the Project within the Małopolskie Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013, Priority Axis 3. Tourism and cultural industry, 3.2 Development of a cultural industry product, Scheme A: cultural heritage and revalorization of spatial layout, partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund, was singed in October 2009. The project's total worth is 7 645 829,92 PLN.

The project is partially funded by the European Union within the Małopolskie Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013.
