Journey to the Eastern Borderlands
On the 600th anniversary of the Horodło Union, we would like to invite you to a journey to the Eastern Borderlands, hosted by Teresa Siedlar-Kołyszko and the ensamble ‘Promyki Krakowa' led by Roma Doniec-Krzemień.A guest appearance will be made by Marian Mędrala.
During the Second World War, Teresa Siedlar-Kołyszko was a member of the Grey Ranks under the nom de guerre ‘Skierka'. Following the end of the war, she was an employee of the Polish Radio in Kraków, where she also made historical broadcasts about the Borderlands. For her activity, she received the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. During the event she will explain the meaning and consequences of the Horodło Union to the history of Poland.
Special songbooks will be available for you during the concert, on the 28th November (Thursday) at 17:00 in the Jagiellonian Hall.
