Chemistry Room

The room features the equipment from the first chemical laboratories of the Jagiellonian University. The collection includes 18th-century distillation vessels, aerometers and other early analytical instruments, 19th-century vacuum pumps, mortars, and various types of chemistry glassware (from 19th to early 20th c.). Typically for the museum, the scientific collection is displayed in an aesthetically designed interior. Among the furnishing stands out the unique tablecloth press made in Gdańsk (ca. 1700).
