Clock Room

This room demonstrates various types of clockworks ranging from mechanical to electrical. The central place is occupied by the turret clock movement from Szczekociny (ca. 1600) regulated by an escapement. Another valuable exhibit is the S. Riefler’s astronomical regulator from Munich (1897) distinguished by its extreme precision. The same clock was previously used in the JU Astronomical Observatory to control the operation of a telescope.
