Photographs from the Jagiellonian University Museum's collection in Dziennik Polski

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (until 19th March) the Cracow's daily Dziennik Polski will publish, as a part of the "KRAKÓW na starych fotografiach" collection, the photographs of Franciszek Klein. The pictures come from the JU Museum's collection and were made in the years 1909-1913.

Annual cleaning in the Museum

The yearly cleaning in the Museum's exhibition rooms has just finished. It means that the standard exhibition (from Libraria to Aula) and the additional part (e.g. the scientific instruments exhibition and the medieval art gallery) will be available again. However, until the 18th March the Rector's Staircase and M. Bobrzyński's Room will be closed due to the rugs being replaced there.

The exhibition catalogue "Rzecz o roku 1683" available at bookstores

The Cracow's publishing market has got a new must-have title – titled "Rzecz o roku 1863. Uniwersytet Jagielloński wobec powstania styczniowego". A catalogue of high-quality content, released together with the museum exhibition, it holds a plentitude of articles and stories, as well as works of poetry and large number of illustrations. The catalogue may be acquired at the Negotiolum souvenir shop and at the University Bookstore at Św. Anny 6.
