Opening of the Hugo Kołłątaj exhibition
On 200th anniversary of his death, year 2012 has been anounced to be Hugo Kołłątaj's year. On 28th May 2012 the exhibition named "Dziwne igrzysko losu i przeznaczenia. Żywot Kołłątaja w odsłonach kilku" was opened in the JU Museum.
The exhibition will remain open until 28th September 2012.
The featured exhibits come from the collections of following institutions: Jagiellonian University Archive, Jagiellonian Library, JU Museum Collegium Maius, the Archive and Library of Cracow's Cathedral Chapter, PAU and PAN Scientific Library in Cracow, Hugo Kołłątaj Hall of Memory and Transfiguration Church in Wiśniowa, St. Thecla Church in Krzyżanowice Dolne, Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, National Museum in Cracow, JU Botanical Garden, and the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
