Christmas carols in the Museum
On 11th January 2013, for the first time in Museum's history, a Christmas carol evening was held for the Museum's employees and invited guests.
The "Promyki Krakowa" ensemble, affiliated with the M. Karłowicz Musical School and supervised by Mrs. Roma Doniec-Krzemień, presented a selection of Polish Christmas songs, both older and more recent, their words and melodies touching the hearts of listeners. A surprising performance was prepared by Mrs. Dessisława Christozowa-Gurgul and her Daughter Ania, who sang a merry Bulgarian Christmas carol. We all hope that next year we will be able to repeat this event with the friends of Collegium Maius. We would like to thank all those, who supported the idea of common carol singing. The special thanks goes to Mr. Mieczysław Czarnecki for lending the Yamaha piano.
