The current edition of "Touch Culture" has finished. On Friday, the 7^th June, a collection of works of Jacek Malczewski and the tangible adaptations for persons with sight loss were presented in Collegium Maius. Sabina and Malwina Antoniszczak presented works of their father – Julian Antoniszczak, among other the "chropographics", or images read using fingers, created with the scanning chropograh – the optical-electromechanical device designed by Antoniszczak. In the Stuba Communis, unique objects were displayed – replicas and models of selected exhibits from the JU Museum, like the "Jagiellonian Chalice", created by design students from the Pedagogical University in Cracow. In the Huta Courtyard, the Geological Museum of the JU Instituteof Geological Sciences presented its exhibition named "Touching the Earth". During a press conference, with the JU Rector Prof. Andrzej Nowak, the JU Museum director Prof. Krzysztof Stopka, the Manager of the JU Disability Support Service Ireneusz Białek, Tomasz Stańsko, Dominik Wania, and Michał Rusinek – the chairman of the Wisława Szymborska Foundation -  a replica of the Wisława Szymborska's Nobel Prize Medal, designed for person with sight loss and impairments, was demonstrated. This replica will be displayed with the original medal in the Second Treasury of the Jagiellonian University Museum. The adaptation has been prepared in cooperation and with the financial aid of the  Wisława Szymborska Foundation. The Nobel Commitee declared its acceptance for this form of presentation. The replica was made by the graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Lech Kolasiński.

In the evening, visitors were able to attend the concert performed by the world-famous jazz trumpeter Tomasz Stańko, accompanied by Dominik Wania. Both artists gave an unforgettable music experience.
