Next Wednesday, the 29 March 2023 at 4 pm, the Collegium Maius Aula will become the stage for an event accompanying the exhibtion "The academic community and the foreign occupier. The 160th anniversary of the January Uprising".
The event will include following speeches:
- Prof. Krzysztof Stopka — Behind the exhibition "Year 1863. The Jagiellonian University during the January Uprising" hosted by the Museum in 2013.
- Prof. Andrzej A. Zięba — Ten years later — the Jagiellonian University academia and its approach to the insurgent traditions.
- Mgr Michał Chlipała — January Uprising in the eyes of a Russian military reenactor.
After the conclusion of the main event, visitor will be able to see exhibits from the collection of the Jagiellonian University Museum related to the January Uprising and join a guided tour in the Collegium Maius cellars.
